Fees

Club membership is available on an individual or family basis.

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS

  • Senior – Membership fee: €60 per year .Any person over 18 years old.
  • Junior – Membership fee: €35 per year.  Any young person under 18 years. Junior members do not have full voting rights
  • Student / Unwaged – Membership Fee: €45 . Any person who is over 18 but still in fulltime 2nd or 3rd level education
  • Registered Level 3 Instructor: Membership Fee €40. This applies to currently registered Level 3 Instructors on basis they commit to leading at least three club trips per year
  • Associate – Membership Fee: €30 Persons whose participation in the Club activities is sufficiently limited to warrant their admission other than full Senior, Student or Junior members. Associate members do not have voting rights.
  • FAMILY MEMBERSHIPMembership fee € 120 per year

This is open to any family unit consisting of 2 adults (parents or guardians) and 2 children who would otherwise be eligible for junior or student membership. Any additional children would be €15 per child- this is to cover the cost of Canoeing Ireland registration .The purpose of family membership is to encourage adult parents /guardians to become involved in the sport along with their children.

NOTE: The above definition does NOT include children other than your own or children of whom you’re the guardian, nor does it include two club members who happen to be a couple.
In the event of whether any particular application is suitable for consideration as a family membership this shall be referred to the committee for a final decision.

MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL

Membership is for one a year until end October.  To renew membership for the following year the annual fee should be remitted with any changes notified since original application and payment made by end of October of that year.
